Design Philosophy
The Hummvee moniker is not applied lightly and it speaks volumes about the versatility of this shoe. A true multi-disciplinary piece, the new Hummvee XC Shoe brings tough durability to a shoe well suited for all trail, XC and gravel duties. Designed with input from Ergonomistry expert Phil Burt, the Hummvee XC Shoe brings the highest possible level of comfort in a simple, durable construction.
EGM Footbed
Having gained such approval across the industry after its initial launch, the EGM footbed is now found on all Endura footwear. Providing maximum comfort while aiding power output and allowing the foot to be securely held in place.
Power Arch Strap
The centre strap of the three sits lower down on the medial side. which allows the strap to pull up the arch area of the foot, for extra support to aid power transfer and securely lock the foot in place.
Nylon Composite Midsole
For offroad pedalling a stiff sole is of vital importance. The nylon composite midsole provides this, translating your pedalling input straight to a higher power output through the pedals.

Comfy, walkable and reasonably light
Once I got the right size (half a size up from usual) these are a great fit and comfortable with a good amount of room in toe box. (They could use a smidge more IMO to enable toes to wiggle about and not go to sleep). I use Crank Bros pedals (Mallet E and Candy) and with the spacer for under the cleats installed they play nicely. They appear tough but stayed cool on a 100km off road ride in 24º heat which I'm pleased with (bought them for hot/fair weather riding). The three velcro straps work well. Good value compared to other shoes.Â
